OpenAI has launched Astra for Law for selected firms, combining GPT‑6 Astra with a legal search index and legal-workflow tools. The current index is described as US law, so UK buyers still need to prove authority coverage, citation quality and matter controls on their own work.

OpenAI has released GPT-Live-1 in the API as a front-end voice layer that can listen and speak simultaneously, handle interruptions and delegate deeper work to a separate model.
