What it doesn’t mean
A system prompt is not a security boundary by itself. A product must enforce access controls and validate actions even when a model produces an unexpected response.
Make one request easier to answer
A short exercise · use fictional or non-sensitive material.
- Write a request with a clear task, audience and output format. Leave out private information.
- Add a short fictional example of the result you want. Keep the rest of the request unchanged.
- Compare the two answers for missing facts, unwanted promises and formatting mistakes.
