Google Forms is adding AI analysis across questions. Before acting on a recommendation, teams need to check access, missing answers and what the sample actually represents.
A recommendation alongside the responses
Google is introducing Actionable Insights in Forms. Its 5 November announcement says Gemini can use Python to analyse response data and suggest next steps. Google describes calculations and connections across questions; that is a supplier description, not evidence that a recommendation is a sound business decision. A survey records what its respondents said, not automatically what every customer wants.
Release track and access still matter
Rapid Release began on 2 November, while Scheduled Release begins on 19 November; both are gradual rollouts of up to 15 days. The announcement lists Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Education Plus and specified Google AI and Education add-on access. Workspace smart features and personalisation must be enabled. No new standalone price or blanket regional entitlement is established by this announcement; check the actual account before planning a deployment.
Check eligibility before looking for the button
Google’s help guide sets a minimum of 12 responses and three questions, excludes forms with Quiz settings enabled and requires access to a linked sheet when one exists. In Responses, generate the insights and expand Analysis steps to inspect the explanation. Those requirements concern Actionable Insights, not the different limits for text summaries and theme generation.
Recalculate the claim behind the action
Suppose a feedback report recommends changing an event’s start time. Count respondents who answered the timing question, separate missing answers and compare the actual choices. A percentage of answered questions is not a percentage of all invitees. A connection between two answers does not show that one caused the other. Keep the response snapshot and the reviewer’s correction with the proposed action so a colleague can trace the decision.
Try a small survey review before changing a process
The survey review exercise in Model Pilot supplies a fictional dataset, an answer key and a prompt that tests denominators and missing information. Keep participant identifiers and sensitive free text out of an initial trial. Treat responses as evidence, not instructions for an agent to send messages or change records. Review the Gemini product profile for the wider product context, and use the risk gate before introducing real organisational data.
HUBAI VIEWSeparate a generated recommendation from a decision supported by the respondents.

What to verify next
1Confirm edition, release track and linked-sheet access.
2Preserve the response snapshot and count unanswered questions.
3Recalculate percentages before approving an action.
4Keep outbound messages and production changes under human control.

Capabilities, availability and prices can change. HubAI keeps analysis separate from the underlying official material.
