Google is rolling out new Gemini connections for project management, documents, design, websites, housing, credit, fitness and tickets. The integrations can reduce tab switching, but each service keeps its own account, permissions and privacy terms.

- Google names 14 services across productivity, creativity and lifestyle categories in the 23 September rollout announcement
- Connections are enabled from Gemini settings or invoked with an @ mention, but availability can vary by account, Workspace licence and rollout state
- Third-party services process data under their own privacy policies; a Gemini connection is not a shared security, retention or compliance boundary
The verified rollout boundary
Short answer: Gemini is becoming a service switchboard
Google announced on 23 September 2026 that a new wave of Connected Apps is beginning to roll out in Gemini. The named productivity services are Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and Zoho; creative services are Adobe, Picsart, Squarespace and Webflow; lifestyle services are apartments.com, Experian, Peloton and SeatGeek. Google's page also describes project, database, document, design, website, housing, credit, fitness and ticket tasks. This is an integration rollout, not a new foundation model or evidence that every service is already enabled for every UK account.
Count the integrations carefully
The announcement names 14 services: six productivity names, four creativity names and four lifestyle names. That number describes services named by Google, not independently tested connectors, guaranteed UK availability or actions included in every plan. Some brands may expose more than one capability, while a single connection can still be limited by the underlying service account, subscription and regional product rules.
Availability follows the signed-in account
Google says the connections are beginning to roll out and can be enabled in Gemini settings or invoked with an @ mention. Its Workspace help states that most work and school users can access Gemini Apps, while feature availability and data handling depend on the Workspace licence. HubAI did not find an official service-by-service UK availability matrix for this wave. A UK buyer should therefore verify the actual Gemini account, administrator policy, service subscription and visible connector before promising a workflow.
The connection does not merge the privacy boundaries
Google's Gemini Apps Privacy Hub says Gemini can work with Google apps and third-party services. It also says third parties process data under their own privacy policies. Before enabling a service, record which prompts and fields Gemini may send, what results return, where each side retains activity, whether data can be used to improve a service, how access is revoked and which human can inspect the action. A provider list is not a compliance assessment, data-residency statement or assurance that a downstream action is reversible.
Separate reading from writing and purchasing
A connection that reads project status has a smaller operational blast radius than one that edits a database, publishes a website, signs a document, changes a booking or initiates a purchase. Google says Gemini begins automation after the user asks and describes confirmation controls for purchases in its broader Gemini security guidance, but the exact action and confirmation path still needs to be tested per service. Start with read-only retrieval, then add a drafted action with mandatory review before any write, send, publish, booking or payment.
Run a one-connector business pilot
Choose a recurring task that already has an owner and a manual baseline, such as reading one project board and drafting a status update. Use a least-privilege test account and non-sensitive data. Record authentication, scopes, data fields, tool calls, citations, errors, edits, review minutes and revocation. Then compare the accepted result and complete cost with the current route. Do not connect several services at once: when the output fails, a narrow pilot makes the source and permission boundary diagnosable.
HubAI buyer verdict
The new connections make Gemini more credible as a cross-service assistant, especially for small teams that already live in one of the named tools. They do not create an automatic best buy. Shortlist the integration only when the intended service is visible on the authorised UK account, the permissions are proportionate and one same-work pilot improves accepted output without hiding review or licence cost. The existing Gemini profile remains Test pending and receives no HubAI Score.
Evidence limits and editorial disclosure
Independent editorial coverage; not sponsored. Service names, rollout language and example categories come from Google's 23 September announcement. Account-specific access comes from Google's Workspace help, and the third-party data boundary comes from the Gemini Apps Privacy Hub. HubAI has not connected or independently tested the 14 services and does not claim universal UK availability, accuracy, savings or security. No visible Google Trends volume is attributed to this story. The cover is an original conceptual illustration, not a Gemini interface, provider logo or certification mark.
HUBAI VIEWConnect one low-risk, read-only service first. Confirm the signed-in account, exposed data, permitted actions and review step before allowing Gemini to act across business systems.

What to verify next
1Verify that the intended connection is visible on the exact UK Gemini account and Workspace licence
2Identify the service account, administrator, subscription and least-privilege scopes
3Record which prompts and fields cross into the third party and which retention terms apply
4Begin with one read-only task and require review before writes, sends, publishing, bookings or purchases
5Check audit logs, error handling, revocation and what happens when either account loses access
6Measure accepted output, corrections, review minutes and complete Gemini plus third-party cost
7Re-approve the workflow when a connector, account policy or downstream service changes
